Description:

Katsushika Hokusai (1760–1849) was a Japanese painter, woodblock print master, wood carver, and ukiyo-e artist of the Edo period. He is best known for his series of 36 views of Mount Fuji, which includes the iconic The Great Wave off Kanagawa.

The Mount Fuji Series is a vintage notebook set featuring four of Hokusai’s works applied to the four notebook covers.

The artworks included in the series, in chronological order, are:

Fireworks in the Cool of Evening, 1788–89

Egret, 1823

The Great Wave off Kanagawa, 1829–32

Cuckoo and Azaleas, 1834
